Brown Sugar Beef Chops with Sautéed Mushrooms

Ingredients:

For the Beef Chops:

4 beef chops

1/4 cup brown sugar

4 Tsp garlic puree

2 Tbsp olive oil

1 Tsp salt

1/2 Tsp black pepper

1/2 Tsp paprika

For the Sautéed Mushrooms:

8 oz mushrooms, sliced

2 Tbsp unsalted butter

2 Tsp Garlic Puree

1 Tbsp thyme

Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions:

Prepare the Beef Chops:

Rub the beef chops with brown sugar, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika.

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the beef chops on both sides until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side.

Cook the Beef Chops:

Transfer the seared beef chops to a preheated oven at 190°C and bake for 15-20 minutes until cooked to your desired doneness.

Prepare the Sautéed Mushrooms:

In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.

Add sliced mushrooms and cook until browned and tender, about 5-7 minutes.

Stir in minced garlic and fresh thyme, and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

Serve:

Serve the beef chops topped with the sautéed mushrooms
